Our warranty programs can offer you years of worry-free protection. Ask your dealer about
the warranty program that fits your situation. We offer two types of warranties for our residential products.
Limited manufacturer's warranties Your new equipment leaves our factory with an American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning limited warranty that represents our confidence in the quality of our home comfort systems.
Equipment installed on or after May 1, 2009: For products installed on or after May 1, 2009, Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed online or by calling 1-800-554-8005.
Product registration is quick and easy. Please have the following information ready for each of your new American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning products to complete the process:
- serial number
- model number
- installation date
In case you don’t have this information handy on your sales invoice, your dealer can provide it to you.
If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning’s Base Limited Warranty terms will apply.

Limited warranty booklets
Optional extended warranties A limited warranty is just that — limited and finite. That's why we offer extended warranties. An extended warranty protects your investment for the long run. It's a small price to pay for your peace of mind. Your independent American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Dealer can help you find the extended warranty that best fits your needs. Extended warranty coverage includes:
- Option to purchase coverage in five (5)- or ten (10)-year increments* to cover parts only, labor plus (for registered products) or parts and labor for the duration of the agreement. The option to purchase coverage on equipment that has been installed for less than 5 years is also available (some restrictions apply).
- Fully transferable to the new owner if property is sold.
- Built-in product replacement advantage.
Please note that routine maintenance is required as recommended in the owner's manual to ensure proper performance of the equipment. Repairs that are required due to lack of routine maintenance are not covered by the American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Extended Warranty Agreement. Your independent American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning Dealer can provide routine maintenance. A range of coverage options and features are available.
